A black woman in an orange dress buttoned up the front stands facing the camera with her hands clasped in front of her. She has glasses, a slight smile on her face. One of her hands is kind of splayed like a claw, but she hopes you didn't notice.

Hi, I’m Caitlin!

I’m a Black feminist scholar, educator, and consultant with over a decade of experience helping people and institutions navigate change with clarity and care.

Through Seed Forward Strategies, I support leaders, educators, and mission-driven teams in moments of transition—offering facilitation, coaching, and strategic guidance rooted in liberatory and justice-centered frameworks. With a steady hand and a listening ear, I support leadership shifts, reimagine institutional culture, and help clarify next steps.

My approach is both rigorous and imaginative—grounded in relationships, shaped by reflection, and designed for sustainable transformation. I draw from Black feminist theory, disability justice, and speculative traditions to help people move through complexity toward purposeful, values-aligned futures.

I’ve worked, taught, and consulted across institutions like the University of Minnesota, Georgetown, UC Santa Barbara, Harvard, and Beloit College. My national portfolio includes projects in inclusive pedagogy, open education, and organizational change. I also design public-facing pedagogy projects and creative tools that help communities reflect, imagine, and build toward collective change.

If you're looking for support in navigating change—individually or institutionally—you're in the right place.

All that you touch, you change. All that you change changes you. The only lasting truth is change.
